Artists that inspire us - Wesley Souza

First of all, thank you very much for giving us the interview, we are very honored.

1.Arena PS: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself, where are you from? What do you do for a job?




2. Arena PS: Regarding your works, can you tell us about your creative process.

Bathoriya has an unique style and the way of using of concept, texture, and Dark colors to create gloomy things inspired me.

4. Arena PS: When you are creating art, do you have a habit or some other curiosity?

Wesley Souza - I have the habit of '' sketching '' some initial ideas that come to mind, so I have a folder on the computer that has several 'sketches'' of ideas that until today I have not used the half

Many times I pick some stocks and try some sketches to see if the idea would work.

5. Arena PS: You are recognizably a great artist, what advice or suggestions can you give artists who are just starting?


Wesley Souza - When I started I had many doubts, so I always had Photoshop friends, this way you can share information, tips, suggestions..etc .., In my case it was easier, because of my brother Whendell, who had more experience, but when you are a beginner it is always good to collaborate with other artists (specifically friends), and train hard. In Facebook groups and Deviantart there are always challenges, it is always good to participate in order to train yourself and also to promote your work.









6. Arena PS: And finally, among all your works, which one would you say is your favorite? Or which one means something special to you for some reason?.

Wesley Souza

 - My favorite works are those from my Dark collection, which I had quoted above, my favorite of the collection is the first piece because it took me many days to think of the idea and to finally finish it, it was really much work but pleasurable, furthermore it was my first work of 2016 and the first Daily Deviantion  that I received in 2016.

This work I did in 2013 and at the time was the piece that I loved most to do, when I finished I just said uaaaaaaaau  I was impressed with the result haha. Till the date is one of my favorites.

This creature is one of my favorites, I wanted to make a monster with great tentacles but at the same time very cute.

This is the opposite of the piece above, I wanted to create a monster with big tentacles but with scary face.

Olá, eu agredeço o convite, muito obrigado.
Bem, eu sou de Manaus - AM, tenho 21 anos e estou na area da Digital arte faz por volta de 6 anos, com o passar dos anos foi aprendendo mais sobre Photoshop, e alguns anos eu começei a trabalhar Freelance, fazendo arte para algumas capas de livro, CD, etc.
Esta capa abaixo foi a minha primeira capa de livro a ser publicado em forma fisica.


2. Arena PS: Sobre suas artes, nos conte um pouco sobre o processo criativo.

Eu começo procurando uma ideia, olhando os stocks que tenho salvo no computador e alguns ''esboços que eu salvo no computador para nao esqueçer de algumas ideias iniciais que vem em mente.
